President Biden fall on stage ?

At the start ceremony for the Air Force Academy, President Joe Biden gave out the final diploma after standing for several hours on stage. As he moved to his left and stepped over a pile of sandbags, however, a disturbing moment occurred: Biden stumbled and fell. The incident was captured on video and soon went viral online. White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt took to Twitter shortly afterwards to assure people that all was well. “He is alright; there was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands,” LaBolt tweeted in response to the footage of the fall.

For those close to President Biden (80 years old, currently the oldest person ever elected to hold office), this moment created concern yet it also served as a reminder of how far his strengths have come despite some lingering weaknesses in an unforgiving political environment as he prepares for a second term bid. “I think Biden has a reliable record on which to run,” stated former senior adviser to President Barack Obama David Axelrod. “The way he navigated debt limit negotiations reflects the value of experience.”
